It’s always really special attending a concert at one of Los Angeles’ crown jewels. The Saturday morning Youth Symphony concerts are a great way to expose kids to orchestral performances combined with dance and other arts. Holiday concerts are fun. Highly recommended for almost any program.

Designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry and completed in 2003, the hall is a stainless steel wonder with incredible acoustics in the Great Hall. The auditorium seats are designed with grapevine prints, and the hall itself looks like a giant sailing ship. This site is home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, but the hall also offers other musical events throughout the year, including performances by the Los Angeles Master Choral and the American Youth Symphony. Guided tours with headphones are offered daily, but to see the main hall, you must purchase tickets for one of the performances.
